Alpha-class orbital recovery vehicle
Built to recover the dead machinery of orbit. Modified, repaired, hidden, and kept alive long past its expected service life.
Vehicle profile
Unit 402 is an Alpha-class orbital recovery vehicle: a working salvage ship built around a cavernous cargo bay, recovery drones, a ceiling-mounted crane, and engines designed to keep hauling long after comfort—and common sense—have run out.
The ship’s experimental gravity system reduces takeoff power and assists lift. Its machinery can be serviced from inside the vessel, because recovery crews do not always get to choose where repairs happen.
